The Pioneers had a great showing at the EMS Tournament, finishing in eighth place with 90.5 team points against a total of 28 varsity teams. Among the participants in the two-day tournament, the placements for Boswell were as follows: Kylar Davis in 4th at 215, Mohammed Jafari in 2nd with 150, and Jeremiah Perez as the champion at 138. Other notable wrestlers for the day include Jayden Escalera who went 3-2 at 126, Porter Stephenson who was 2-2 on the day with 2 pins, and Anthony Villari who finished 2-2 as well with 2 pins.
The Pioneers will wrestle one more time before the break, taking to the mat in Newcom Gym on Saturday, Dec. 21st
